I found this yesterday while researching. Still brings tears to my eyes. It is a letter written to Santa Claus in December 1932 by my Uncle Bill (eldest son of William Joseph ‘Buddy’ Hamilton, my grandfather who disappeared and is believed murdered in Lostmans River in February 1932). Uncle Bill asks for presents for himself and his little brothers, Francis Hamilton and Ernest Hamilton (my father).
